June 2, 200917 yr Yesterday I noticed I lost my keyboard main settings while in FS9...so I backed out and checked my FS9.cfg...which confirmed that...so I deleted FS9.cfg and restarted FS9...which built a new FS9.cfg and the keyboard main settings were back. So today, I enter FS9 and attempt to pan with my joystick, and you guessed it, joystick not working. I went to the alt menu and loaded joystick assignments back, and it works. Not sure what's causing this strange behavior. I recently upgraded computer and O/S. Running Vista 64 Ultimate.Other than that, FS9 is smoking on the new system. Also, just out of curiousity, are there any settings I need to make so that FS9 recognizes more RAM? or, is it a function of the O/S--in which case, Vista 64 uses all the onboard RAM.Any advice?ThanksRich PerryIntel i7 965 ExtremeASUS P6T x58 MOBONvidia GTX 285 2GB GPU (182.4 drivers) with nHancerOCZ 6GB DDR3 RAM 1800MhzSB Xi-ExtremeVel Raptor 300GB SATA 10000rpm HDDell 24 1920x1200Windows Ultimate Vista 64 (SP2)
June 3, 200917 yr Rich,as for joystick losing it's assignments, try the LOCKED=1 statement just after the JOYSTICK MAIN.... and JOYSTICK SLEW... lines in your FS9.cfg. Keep an eye on things because when you lock down joystick settings like this, FS will write a new section every time when it detects the joystick to be at a different address (if you frequently plug/unplug your joystick, use different USB ports...)Regards,Jure

I'll give it a go...Vista 64 parks the FS9.cfg in a strange location...c:/users/apps/roaming data etc...even though I installed FS9 on the root C:/FS9. Not sure if that might be causing a blip. I also downloaded 64-bit Logitech Extreme joystick driver to rule that out of the equation as well.Rich
