Corenado C812 Q Instrument Lights

Featured Replies

I have had the Carenado Cessna C-182 Q for over three years and have never been able to determine how to turn the instrument lights on and off. I have to use the cabin lights. There are no instructions in the accompanying manual that I can find . I have not been able to get any response from "[email protected]" and I can't find any kind of Carenado forum. If any one is running this addon (which otherwise is excellent) would you let me now how to find or fix this problem?

I'm not familiar with the Carenado 182, but there is a keyboard shortcut in FSX for instrument lights which might work: Shift + L.

As I recall, there is no internal lighting in the 182 instruments, only optional "post lights, " small lights mounted on the panel next to each instrument reflecting down on to the instrument faces. Lighting from post lights isn't modeled in the Carenado 182, though you can see the vague outlines of the post light housings on the panel. If the aircraft didn't have post lights, than cabin lighting was the alternative...and/or a small flashlight.
