June 6, 200917 yr I have been running ASA and FSX since ASA came out. I had nothing but problem with correct weather injection in FSX matching what the ASA map is reporting, which was usually correct with Real Time Metars.I tried everything... and the last thing I tried, was running ASA on my laptop as a remote computer to the FSX Server/my FS rig. This solved everything. ASA works 1000% better now and I am getting correct weather injection. I can enjoy ASA now and I don't have to babysit it like I did when it was running on the local machine. If you are having weather injection probs with the latest beta build of ASA and you have a spare computer at home, please try using ASA in networked mode and report back here on this thread. To get things running with ASA in networked mode takes a few steps, they are all outlined very well in the ASA manual. Do each step one by one and recheck your work. I would like to know how networked mode works out for you.JB Buzz313th

I did used to run ASv6 on the local machine with FS9 but I don't recall having any depiction issues there. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
June 11, 200916 yr Hello JB,I don't think that a network install is THE cure for depiction problems (and other) with ASA. I have been running all Hifi weather tools via network ever. And ASA still has depiction issues and Cloud pops. This is with FS9 and WideFS. I am just tired of complaining and hoping for the best. Though ASA gives impressive cloudscape at times, the popping is what irritates the most. Seems that the "double feature" to support FS9 and FSX in one go inherited the popping to fs9, this was not the case in AS6.5.regardsUli regards uli

When I was running ASA on my local machine, ASA would never send FSX the right weather, even though it was displayed correctly on the ASA map page. Now after moving to network mode, I am getting the same weather in FSX as the map page dosplayes for each station and that is 1000% time bestter than what I was getting before. Both you and I are talking about two different things. I am getting cloud popping as well, but I also get cloud popping withFSMeteo. For the time being I am happy with just getting correct weather injection. Now on the depiction issues, I'm doing ok with it. I don't seem to have any issues other than cloud popping once every hour or so.JB Buzz313th
