June 6, 200916 yr Hi.No big matter, but just curious. The flaps of the 744 can be operated "live" when watching a replay. Spoilers move as they did in the original flight. On the 737NGs both flaps and spoilers move as they did in original flight. But in neither cases does the ailerons/elevators move. Not as they were moved originally, nor "live" from input during replay..Why is it like this, and is it possible to change it? It would be neat to watch a replay with all surfaces moving accordingly.. :( Thanx in advance.//Johan /Johan Windh
June 6, 200916 yr I don't know the technical reasons, but the MSFS replay feature is not what you are hoping for. Depending on the situation, you may lose flap and spoiler animation in the 737 as well. Dan Downs KCRP

June 7, 200916 yr Author It has to do with the fact that many of the control surfaces are animated using customized animation definitions, rather than stock FS defnitions. This gives us a lot more control with creating movements that are truer to the real aircraft. Unfortunately, these customized animations often do not translate well to replays.Alright. Thanx Vin. /Johan Windh
