FSCOF? ...do I need it? My thoughts (long)

Featured Replies

Scary how you can replace out FSCOF with FSX in nearly every post. I actually just posted something that was nearly verbatim from this thread, goes to show you the same arguments over and over whichever side you are on.Deja vu anyone?Ian.

could go back further too, but from my standpoint the fs8 - fs9 change in sky was truly drastic. i happily chucked fs8 just for that. I am happy, but not quite as enthused about the fs9 - fsx ground upgradeA little later, when the new fsx birds appear, I'll probably start moving over.regards,MarkXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1024mb/X700pro256

wow, this is going backdid I buy it?yes, I did - 8 months after its initial public release.why? - a few of the payware aircraft I was interested in purchasing were developed for the FS9 package. Also, RC was updated with some much needed commands, which also required FS9.a few other thoughts:my assumption on 'interactive VC' was wrong, MS did a great job in this areamy assumption on 'taxiway signs' was wrong, MS did a reasonable job in this areaas for the other comments, I dont know - I think they still hold some water so to speak.eitherway, thanks for digging this up, it is a real blast from the past. :-)
