If you wish you may try; start a basic flight on your favorite Rwy (traffic off so you don't get run over.)(1) setup all overhead "on" (except APU) most especially the inertial nav sys. set HDG to your rwy HDG(2) set EFIS to ILS, flaps 20, autobrake should already read RTO. Trim should also already be preset by the system to take off config. Default altitude should read 10,000 that's okay, leave it for now.(3) take off,.... once you have wheels up just leave flaps and speed setting alone for this test.(4) left click CMD (left of three) only. left click SPD, at this point the Vsp switch should self activate, if it does, adjust climb to 1500 fpm if it does not; see (6)(5) to take HDG control; right click in the small area where the HDG +/- sign is available.(6) If you followed these steps and did not get AP control I would suspect improper gauge installation - the CS757 is real fussy about that because of their gauge architecture. If that is the case you may have to uninstall and reinstall being very careful to follow CS's instructions to the letter - I also have been down that road. I hope this helps you out some Nandan.Regards, Mel

First, I'd upgrade to V2.1...Also.. make sure that before doing ANYTHING in the cockpit, you align the IRS units first.. otherwise nothing in the autopilot will function properly.
