June 17, 200916 yr Hi,Like some others have experienced with Cloud9's KLAX scenery and Norton Antivirus, it "discovered" that the bglman.dll file is a "trojan", and it rendered the scenery inoperative. I tried doing a repair on the scenery, and now FS9 does a CTD upon load attempt. So, I uninstalled KLAX with the uninstall, rebooted my machine, and FS9 still crashes on loading, with no warnings/error messages. I have since excluded both FSX and FS9 from Norton's prying eyes....too little too late perhaps....Does anyone have a solution to this problem, without having to do a complete uninstall/reinstall of FS9??!!! I have so much customization involved that it would take me at least a week to get everything back to where I had it before this problem happened....I REALLY hope this problem can be fixed without doing that, and that I can reinstall Cloud9's KLAX....(I have not tried just reinstalling KLAX yet, as I am now over 2600 miles away from home, and this happened right before I had to leave to catch my flight). Thanks for any help/ideas anyone has! June 17, 200916 yr I don't use Norton myself, but here's what I would try...First of all uninstall Cloud9 KLAX, then go to your modules folder and delete any remaining bglman files. Then disable Norton's antivirus and install KLAX again. Finally, once all is installed you can enable the antivirus again and go into Norton's options and exclude your FS folder from virus scanning. It's also worth downloading and installing the latest version of bglman - I believe the Cloud9 site has a link to a programme that will download and install the latest version of bglman - this is especially important if you also use any FS Dream Team sceneries as they also use bglman, and you will want to have the latest version which is compatible with all sceneries. I will try those steps when I get back to my system next week...I think only the bglman.dat file remains in the modules folder, as the corresponding .dll was deleted (and this is probably/hopefully causing the FS9 loading problem). I will report back with, hopefully, good news. Jim BlakeCaptain, SWA Virtual AirlinesReal World C172 Pilot, AOPA #06034701

June 18, 200916 yr Also, make sure the latest Addon Manager is the LAST thing you install. It checks which c9 / fsdream team products are installed, then installs the necessary files.Russell.

June 26, 200916 yr That's good news Jim. It's very frustrating when you spend many hours installing and tweaking an FS installation, only to come across a problem like that. It's always a relief when you find the solution :) Nick
