Fsx crash after installing Md11

Featured Replies

Hi everybody!!First of all, I'm French, and I'm 15 , that's why my English is quite....Crap.And I have a BIG problem with the Pmdg md11X.Because of another problem with my fsx, i've installed it again (90 gb!) this morning. And then I've installed my wonderful Md11.There were no problems, everything seemed perfect.But...Even if the Pmdg's house liverie is nice,I wanted to fly with Air France!! (Of course!)So I've downloaded the liverie and others on the the official website. But , just after the end of the installation (of my new liverie), a message appeared : "Could not find Aircraft.cfg.Reinstall Md11X".So I just thought that the liverie wouldn't work but I was wrong. When I launch Fsx, I can see the blue Splash Scren, and then I can hear the little music that come with...And then fsx crash.I don't even see the main menu with the Ulm, it's crashed already. I have a report, but I don't know how to translate it...( In French : Une erreur irr

No ideas?I would really need your help, it took me 4 hours to install Fsx...

Have you tried running an FSX repair? or maby you could use a system restore point, but I would try the fsx repair first.

While my post does not offer any potential solutions, I'd just like to say your command of the English language seems fine to me, Vincent. I'd even go as far to say that it's better than some of those who speak English as their first and only language!

My knowledge of French is limited to a few choice words, but the Microsoft error message is the same unhelpful message we get in English: Your program has an unrecoverable error, do you want to report this to Microsoft? Worthless help from Microsoft in my opinion.Try this: http://ops.precisionmanuals.com/wiki/How_t...SX_DLL.XML_FileHope it helps.

I'm pretty sure this is the behaviour exhibited when a un-licensed/pirated/illegitimate version of the MD-11 is installed. There was a post a while ago about a guy who had purchased the MD-11 from a "broker" of some sort and just got a pirated version. Did you purchase it directly from PMDG or through another retailer?Look in your FS directory if your Scenery or Texture directories remain. If not then you're hooped brotha.Patrick H

McBellette, you really need to relax. Why do you always put everyone down as you do, and so proactively? Please seek professional help.
