how to disable the md11 high/low speed protection

Featured Replies

What part of that paragraph suggests you can disable the AT?If you're familiar with Boeings, the MD behaves a lot like a Boeing does with the AT switch in the ARMED position. The difference is that the MD does not have an OFF position; the AT is always ARMED once any AFS is available.Paul
i didnt say that it is 100% possible to turn it off and continue on AP but i said it should be possible (well at least it is via breakers thats what i know) but maybe there is another way which i can perform with the PMDG one

Just disable the AFS as noted above (both channels). It's the only way to override protections given that circuit breakers are not modelled.Best regards,Robin.

i need that for a video production

Unless you can do it through the failure menu, it will be impossible to let the autopilot stall/overspeed the airplane for your video.Paul
