June 30, 200916 yr What part of that paragraph suggests you can disable the AT?If you're familiar with Boeings, the MD behaves a lot like a Boeing does with the AT switch in the ARMED position. The difference is that the MD does not have an OFF position; the AT is always ARMED once any AFS is available.Pauli didnt say that it is 100% possible to turn it off and continue on AP but i said it should be possible (well at least it is via breakers thats what i know) but maybe there is another way which i can perform with the PMDG one
June 30, 200916 yr Commercial Member Just disable the AFS as noted above (both channels). It's the only way to override protections given that circuit breakers are not modelled.Best regards,Robin.

July 1, 200916 yr Unless you can do it through the failure menu, it will be impossible to let the autopilot stall/overspeed the airplane for your video.Paul
