Flight Simulator and Google Search Trends

Featured Replies

It seems search interest in Flight Simulator at least as gauged by google searcheshas been falling since 2004.http://www.google.com/trends?q=flight+simu...=all&sort=0You can see the yearly Christmas interest peaks and the massive peak when MS released FSX but the downward trend then continued.Given the great reduction in PC cost needed to run a simand number of PCs sold over that time I might have thought otherwise.

Makes sense in terms of flight sim, or any game/product, after its release. All the other non-FS/product related sites I checked are stable.

Think its time to join them :)The only decent looking fight sim related trend graph I could find is for Aerosoft.

That makes sense. They're releasing a new product like every week--or so it seems.

Or flying to/from Phoenix...or flying to/driving from DC...or flying to/from Juneau...or working on cars...or fighting the cat for bed space...or making 120-plus devilled eggs for a family party... :(
