PMDG NGX?

Featured Replies

Is PMDG still going to release an FSX version of it's 737NG aircraft? I was on their web site a day or two ago and saw a mention of a "NGX" package for FSX but the page had 2007 date....

They are working on a 'version 2' of their 737NG (actually an entirely new product), which will be for both FS9 and FSX, but they said the other day that it was at least six months away from release.Al

Thanks for the update, Al! It's particularly good news to hear that NGX will run on FS9, too! On my Athlon 64 +3200 based system I'm luck to get 12 +/- fps with Ultimate Traffic 2 running (frequently less), 20 fps without it! Both FS2002 and 2004 run much faster. Since I don't plan on getting a faster system anytime so they'll remain my FS version of choice...Scott

Know how you guys feel. I am really excited to get the new 737. That's about the only aircraft from FS9 that I really miss. The only heavy I have bought for FSX is the LDS 767 since I prefer Boeing a/c. I will probably get the Dash 8 when it comes out though.
