Problem with sound

Featured Replies

Recently purchased and installed the FS2Crew for PMDG MD-11, had no problem with the installation, however, when I run the program all tasks are conducted silently. There are no voice sounds at all. The sound files are where they should be and I can double click them and hear them just fine. Also noticed when I bring up the FS2Crew start center all three voice sets are grayed out, as if not selectable. Any help would be appreciatedregardsBob D.

Hello Bob,Did you install the int'l voice sets and the latest version of the Start Center from here:http://www.fs2crew.com/cart/pages/FS2Crew%...and-Extras.htmlRegarding not hearing FS2Crew voices in game... tough to say... try re-installing your sound drivers.

OK, ignore what I wrote a few minutes ago :( I have a central speaker which has some controls on the front, including a push-button near the side where I grab the thing to dust. The button is for something called "matrix," the usefullness of which has always escaped me. Anyway, if that button is pressed, it kills the center speaker on this 5.1 setup. And the central speaker is where FS2Crew sound comes from. I dusted recently, and I know I grabbed the speaker; must have also pressed that button in because unpressed, everything's fine. What a jackass! Thanks anyway,Dave Skuback
