qfe and qnh difference

hi was wondering what does qfe is on the barostat knob mean one side i know is qnh and the other side is qfe since when passing through transition u suppose to set the knob to standard in the 747 it comes up as shown as standard but in the md 11 on mine it doesnt show up it only reverts to 1013 or is this std pressure as i couldnt find any rerfence inthe manaul bout what qfe is

QFE is the atmospheric pressure at the field elevation. 1013 is standard.Cheers,
