July 8, 200916 yr G'day to all, It appears that there are some missing gauges in the new Goose Redux. In some liveries there are not even holes for the gauges on the right side. Anybody know anything about this? Also, the engine sound in the HP version is very strange, it cuts out around 1500 RPM and then it sounds as if it is at full throttle all the time. And if I turn the engines off and then restart them, they won't idle. (In the HP version) All help appreciated. Thanks. May life smile,
July 8, 200916 yr When I look at the default Goose, there are no gauges underneath the panel. Especially given that one of the holes is obscured on that panel, I believ those are just holes to make that cover lighter and are not associated with any gauges. As per the gauges on the right, I haven't found that particular paint, but on the ones I have looked at, there is only one gauge over there, and no empty holes. It is not uncommon for there to be empty gauge holes in a panel. Reviewing the panel.cfgs doesn't show any missing gauges, so I don't think there is a gauge issue.I haven't flown the HP version yet, so haven't noticed any sound difference there. But even on the regular version, the sound seems stunted. When I increase the throttle, there seem to be only two levels, it doesn't seem to increase gradually in volume like I would expect. But I don't hear any sounds of silence. Tom Perry

July 8, 200916 yr Commercial Member Hey guys This is Gizmo from the Ozx team, the gauge blanks are just an artistic decision that butch decided would look cool and true to life as a few goose VC pictures we had showed missing gauges in that section of the pannelWe didnt touch any of the sounds or sound.cfg due to not having acess to a running gooseTheres is going to be a 1.1 patch out in the next few days that fixes some of the problems that have been raise since the main package was released (inc the sound problem) so keep and eye on the Ozx front page Hope your enjoying the package though :)Cheerssteve AKA Gizmo http://shadeforfsx.blogspot.com/
July 9, 200916 yr Author Hello, O.K., thanks to all. Glad that nothing is missing. The engine sound in the HP is weird, though, and I look forward to the update. Best to all, Fritz
July 9, 200916 yr "Hope your enjoying the package though"Hi Steve (AKA Gizmo) thats for sure! Fantastic package both visual and flight performance. I've always liked the Goose but it's default version always had some unhappy flight characteristics which you folks have correct. The new paints are beautiful! Many thanks Howard
