July 10, 200916 yr Hey guys,Im new to this forums and i'm wonder how do I get the Airbus A380Download links will be appreciated.Other times I download demo's the a380 is dodgy and doesn't work but I think this site has it but the File Library doesnt seem to be working so help pleaseThank youNormaly I would tell you to look here at AVSIM but with the library down. There are several other sites you can go to.First do you want pay ware or free ware? For freeware try http://www.simviation.com sorry I do not have a direct linkfor payware try http://www.pcaviator.com/shop/index.php :(
July 10, 200916 yr There is no really completely realistically modeled Airbus A380 out there at the moment. One or two payware and freeware ones are kicking about, but they were largely created before the real thing flew, and therefore also before much was known about the aircraft's true flight performance. To be fair, the Abacus 'Fly the Airbus A380 V2' add-on package for FS has been upgraded a little, but the upgrade is more about adding other variants and a few whistles and bells, and as entertaining as Abacus FS add-ons are, they do not have the reputation of being the most realistic things you can get your hands on. Nevertheless, it may still be the best option at least looks-wise and feature-wise, and you certainly can't argue with the 19 Dollar price tag. You can find it here: http://www.abacuspub.com/default_fs.htmlYou can find a comprehensive review of the Abacus 'Fly the Airbus A380 V2' package in the AVSIM reviews section. With the AVSIM file library currently U/S, if you want a freeware A380, you might try searching the file library at flightsim.com or somewhere such as that. You might also be interested to note that there is a very good feature on flying the Airbus A380 (the real one) in the current edition of Airliner World magazine, which if you can't find it on a news-stand, can be found here: http://www.isubscribe.co.uk/title_info.cfm?prodid=7163If you want info on the Airbus A380, you can visit the EADS (Airbus manufacturer) website for a lot of info on the real thing, and they have a shop on their site where you can buy quite nice models of all their aeroplanes, including the A380. Go to: www.airbus.comYou can also try at this site for stuff about the cockpit and technical details, although being a newish aircraft, there is not a huge amount of stuff about it: http://www.smartcockpit.com/plane/airbus/A380/You final option is to phone up Airbus Industries, and if you have approximately 185 million Dollars, I'm sure they'll be happy to sell you one. If they offer you a discount for buying two of them, can I have the other one? :( Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
