July 13, 200916 yr I bought this plan and found it to be a pretty good design. I've also seen freeware like the TBM-800 that has potential to give it a run for it's money. O.K. as you guess I'm a little aggravated here... What irks me is how we can have a payware design these days released $21.00 with no VC night lighting. The window texture is overly done to a point that if you tried to fly this bird at night the dome light washes out the windows where you can't see out at night. My question for everyone here is this something you other guys are seeing. Also is this just a problem with the FS9 version or was night VC lighting overlooked in the FSX version as well. I will write a support ticket for this with Just Flight hoping what I mentioned here was just an oversight between the FSX and FS9 versions. Overall I like this add-on but I would like it even more if I could fly it at night... July 13, 200916 yr Can't say I've even tried it in FS9, but I have done plenty of flights with it in FSX. It does have the odd glitch which needs sorting (such as the strobe light and the elevator trim tab), but visually it is okay in my FSX by both day and night.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

July 13, 200916 yr Dillon,In case you were unaware, there is a support forum for the Just Flight product at: http://forum.justflight.com/Maybe if you post your findings there, you might get some help, or they might agree to fix any bugs you have discovered.Cheers, Graeme Butler
July 13, 200916 yr Hey Dillion, sorry for the issues you're experiencing. It bugs me when you see advertising that's more fulfilling then the actual product. Regardless, post a rating of the aircraft after you've finished debugging it so all of us know what to expect. By the way, I've been looking for a twin and that plane was mentioned as being a decent aircraft. While hunting around I also saw that Carenado was releasing a GA twin for FS9 and decided to wait and hear if its as good as their other aircraft. I'm starting to believe that was a lucky move?Mark
July 14, 200916 yr Hi Les,I have been in contact with JF regarding the lighting issues you describe. They have indicated there is a patch coming for the FS9 Duchess (very shortly). However, I do not know what all issues it will be addressing. By all means, please post your issues with Just Flight. That's how things can be fixed. BTW, I tried that with Carenado, with the glaring trim issue with the Arrow, their answer was to say it is a FS bug.... then no further comment. So I will not be spending my disposable income with them (Carenado) further. I will vote with my pocket book and be very happy to let others know about shoddy customer service.Which right now JF does not fall into that group. For those of you who do not have the Duchess yet, wait to see what is addressed in the patch. To me the $21.00 price was a lot better value than the money spent on the Arrow. Also, you can fly in daylight hours and have a very enjoyable time. I also switched out the NAV/COMM 1 for the RXP GNS 430. Which makes for very enjoyable x-country flying. Best of luck,Dale
