July 17, 200916 yr Hello,I have UTX Canada as well as FSX global and GEX installed in FSX. I fly out of Whitehorse and at the end of Runway 310 there is a light bar gate placed across the end of the runway. The taxi signs are also mis placed. Is there anyway to move these items to the proper areas of the runways manually?Regards Rod.
July 18, 200916 yr Someone, who knew more about the nature of your problem, would probably suggest this. http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/ https://www.youtube.com/user/JustaRandomSimmer Simulator Videos http://sierra-hotel.blogspot.com Aviation Picture Blog
July 18, 200916 yr RodDo you have DX10 preview checked in the sim? If Yes, untick the box and try again.Check the GEX and UTX installation: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=23111You need all the patches installed in GEX including the enhanced upgrade then run the GEXn configurator to reload all textures. http://gex.flight1.net/Finally run the UTX Canada setup and that should fix the problem. You may need to position the FS Global entry in the scenery setup as per the GEXn/UTX instructionsIf this doesn't work the GEX and UTX forums could help.RegardsPeterH

Is there anyway to move these items to the proper areas of the runways manually?Regards Rod.The light bar gate you refer to is the Localizer antenna for runway 31L. FSX has it located in the wrong position. It should be at the very end of the 31L runway.Runway 01/19 is too far right. All the taxiway signs need moving to the right for proper alignment. These problems are part of the default airport that FSX made. Use ADE to move the antenna and the taxiways signs to their correct location.jack
July 18, 200916 yr Jack is right. I found the same problem at Harrisburg Intl. in PA. The localizer was right on the runway and if you taxied out to the runway you were behind it and were stuck. If you tried to go through it you crashed. I used AFX to remov the errant localizer and placed a new one off the runway. Jim
July 18, 200916 yr That airport (CYXY) needs a bunch of fixes, besides moving the localizer. Agree that ADE can do the job, it just will take some time and effort. I took a first cut at it, but I don't have time to really work on it at the moment.scott s..
