July 23, 200916 yr More out of curiosity than anything else I bought the PSS 777 from Just Flight and was actually quite pleased, being able to get in, start her up, do the jourrney and park at the other end with no problem. I have since read a lot of posts about the merge, which I understand to be based on the considerably better Posky visual model. Not being an expert I can`t see anything actually wrong with the PSS visuals, although nothing "special" stands out there doesn
July 23, 200916 yr Having done many merges and follow the "Merge the model to the PSS" train of thought. The POSKY I find was a more visually pleasing model then the PSS. But I currently run the Overland/PSS T7 merge.I believe there are a few variants available in the V2 models. And when I did a merge for a fellow simmer I just downloaded the plain versions.I actually just last night decided it was time to produce a somewhat easy guide to merging. Like I said before I'm a firm believer in the merge the model school, So if you'd like drop me a PM and i can send off the tutorial for you. Clarke Kruger - CYEG
July 28, 200916 yr Hello Geddy -I just did the merge and noticed the A/T is not working. Does your merge allow for everything including the sounds work?If so could I please obtain your tutorial?I look foward hearing from you!Regards,Deltaaaron
July 28, 200916 yr Everything works as it should if done properly.Sounds like you may have missed something. Clarke Kruger - CYEG

August 1, 200916 yr Has anyone managed to get the merge to work with the POSKY 777-300? The one I tried did not make the main bogie's tilt flat on the ground, instead they remained in their titled position all the time :( Anyway of merging it is much appreciated!
August 1, 200916 yr Yup. I did do one some while back for a gentleman in my VA. worked pretty good.Mine is merged with the SMS T7. IIRC the bogey problem was due to improper contact points. Clarke Kruger - CYEG
August 2, 200916 yr But the ILS doesn't run smoothly with merges, any way to fix this?I have gotten your guide Geddy and why SMS/PSS? POSKY/PSS is better isn't it cause the main landing gear last 2 tires move like in real life on the SMS they stay the same...

POSKY/PSS is better isn't it cause the main landing gear last 2 tires move like in real life on the SMS they stay the same...Hmm. Well see here lies the dilemma of some merges. Because I can still use the Load editor and Fuel planner correctly. They do work with each other BTW.My approach speeds work pretty good for ILS approaches. Maybe a little on the harder side at touchdown but I hand fly it sometimes anyway. As for the last 2 wheels? Like to know where you got that from. Every wheel on my SMS/PSS turns. Both the 200 & 300 series.Even if it didn't, I spend most of my time in the flightdeck during Taxi, Takeoff & Landing looking out the front. Really would care less if 2 wheels didn't move.Cheers Clarke Kruger - CYEG
