July 25, 200916 yr Recently installed W7 on my machine. Today I was installing the PMDG 737NG and it installs without problem, but noticed that when loading the aircraft for the PMDG work in FS2004. He did not to start loading the FS2004 is AIRAC where selected some of the PMDG aircraft. Handcuffs know how to proceed? Or is it like? I tried running as Admin. and will not ... This is my firts topic hereRegards :( I7 860 - HD5870 - 4G DDR3 1600Mhz - W7 Ultimate - FS USER SINCE'S 1994.
July 25, 200916 yr Please sign your name to posts in this forum. The problem is not W7, I don't use W7 but I know that several in the pmdg community do without reported problems. The problem then might be the 737 installation. Is this a new purchase or have you had 737NG for a long time? Maybe you have duplicate FSUIPC.dll files? If I understood you, after selecting the pmdg 737, you saw the progress bar for loading AIRAC data but then what happened? Did it freeze or lockup, or did it crash to desktop? Dan Downs KCRP
July 26, 200916 yr Commercial Member I'm using Windows 7 RC exculsively (and will move to the RTM code next week) and it's been absolutely perfect, no problems at all for me. Ensure that you're running all the installers "As Administrator" in the right-click menu. If it's the 64-bit version, it's best to install FS in its own folder or drive rather than letting Win7 put it in the "Program Files (x86)" folder that it normally wants to put 32-bit apps into, we've seen problems because of that in the past. July 28, 200916 yr but noticed that when loading the aircraft for the PMDG work in FS2004. He did not to start loading the FS2004 is AIRAC where selected some of the PMDG aircraft. Please try to say the problem in short sentences, I am not following what you are trying to say.Use admin rights when using installer. The installer needs to modify FS2004, but can not do it unless it has rights to change files.Hope it helps. Dan Downs KCRP
