August 1, 200916 yr Hi! I bought this addon a couple of days ago. I have succesfully completed the tutorial flight, but when I'm trying to fly my own routes I always run into trouble. Firstly the autopilot doesn't seem always to be able to turn when it should and the aircraft will go off course (even if I'm not using time acceleration). SOmetimes it will overfly a waypoint evenif it should turn and sometimes it just doesn't turn fast enough. If I'll change my STAR and the TOD point will change FSX will pause at the old TOD point. When passing the new or old TOD and having a lower altitude selected on the autopilot the aircraft doesn't start the descend. On my latest flight I got a warning that said ILS Untunable when approaching EDDF and when I lowered flaps 35 I've got the warning Flaps disag. How to solve this? Overspeed?Any ideas?Kind regards MagnusP.S. I haven't read the manuals yet.
August 1, 200916 yr First of all, read all the manuals, it's a pain but it's 100% worth it. 2nd, don't use time acceleration above 8x speed. And 3rd, If you're sure you're doing everything correctly put up some screenshots so we can get a closer look. August 1, 200916 yr On my latest flight I got a warning that said ILS Untunable when approaching EDDF and when I lowered flaps 35 I've got the warning Flaps disag. How to solve this? Overspeed? Well I don't know about the ILS untunable but I have a question about the Flap disag. warning were the flaps asymmetric or symmetric because there are two different procedures depending on that variable.
August 1, 200916 yr I am not sure, but the flaps disagree alert can appear for a short time while they are in transient. Did you alert remain on?Perhaps EDDF has changed ILS freqs, resulting in navdata not being the same as the ms world? Dan Downs KCRP
August 2, 200916 yr I just flew a short trip (LFPG-EDDF) and all problems seems to be solved. The primary reason was most probably that I did a good flightplan and the STAR was chosen on the ground and not in the air. The ILS untunable warning seems to disappear when you get closer to the airport. Thanks for all help!
August 2, 200916 yr Commercial Member and the STAR was chosen on the ground and not in the air.Shouldn't make any difference.Best regards,Robin.
