August 6, 200916 yr Your example shows you are displaying the old method of displaying the mini-screen window.First, make sure you have a very recent version of FSUIPC, links at the forum head. Second, in your modules folder rename advdisplay.dll to advdisplay.xxx so it won't run. the recent FSUIPCs will give a transparent windows style miniwindow on their own. Run FS with the latest FSUIPC to get FSUIPC.ini up to date. At the same time in the Main (general) tab of FSUIPC (click on it from the modules drop-down from the menu bar of FS with a flight loaded to get to the FSUIPC settings tabs) make sure multi-line messages is checked. Here are some commands you can edit with Notepad into the General section after backing up your FSUIPC.ini:If you prefer white text add:WhiteMessages=YesTo hide and show (toggle) the RC miniwindow (I used ctrl-x):AdvDisplayHotKey=88,10The RC window should pop-up if a new command comes in but I don't recall. If you want a different key check the FSUIPC guides for the numbers. If you are an FS9 user and do not want FS ATC running in the background (AI are still there and RC will provide comms for them) to provide some protection against occasional FS AI/ATC crashes add this to the General section (See the FSUIPC manual.):RemoveATC=YesDifferent pop up panel views at least in 2D still show the RC window as well as wing views via the panel and hat switch selection. Outside spot views do not show the RC window as I recall. There is no way to modify this that I am aware of.

August 18, 200916 yr Hey JD,Just wondering if after I get the most recent version of FSUIPC if it will effect other flightsim programs such as PDMG aircraft etc. I guess my question is, do different programs use different versions of FSUIPC? If one version of FSUIPC is used at the time of creation of one program, could a later version of FSUIPC not work or be compatible with that program making it not work? Hope these questions make sense. Don't know much about FSUIPC.Thanks,Chris
