This happened with REX 2.0 and the PMDG MD-11. Part of the rex package includes landing lights and for some reason, they didn't work with the MD-11. I have to replace the "spotlight.bmp" from the backup file that REX had made and this resolved the problem for me.

I have REX (1) but not REX2. How do I access the free update? I have also opened a ticket with the vendor. Thanks, Bruce.

Head over to the rex forums at:http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/forum/index.phpAll the information you need is there and they have a sub-forum setup that specifically explains how to update to 2.0.
