I have searched for MSSTDFMT.DLL  and it does not exist on my PC so, again, where can I safely download it from please?

There are too many suspicious websites that claim they have it.

It’s part of the VB runtime file package. I would have thought it would be included in the RC install. Microsoft site is probably your best bet. I agree lots of dodgy sites best avoided.

Have you run the setup.exe on the CD? That should install it.
