August 18, 200916 yr Is there somewhere I can find info on recommended settings for both ASA and FSUIPC4 to achieve max realism but still get rid of the wind changes problems in FSX? I remember finding some recommended settings for FSUIPC somewhere but now I can't find them anymore and there are so many different settings in both ASA and FSUIPC so I would be great with a guide of some kind. Thanks in advance!

August 19, 200916 yr Thanks Stu! What about the other settings in ASA except for the DWC setting, anything else to pay attention to?Here you go:These settings work for me. I still get cloud popping in FS9 but no such problem in FSX. I run the same settings for both.Stu i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.
August 21, 200916 yr How is this with regards to the PMDG aircraft and s-turns, etc.?I think the s-turns issue with PMDG is to do with ASA DWC. I don't use this option, as FSUIPC controls wind shifts.I don't have any s-turns with the PMDG 747 in FS9 with my posted option settings. I don't own the FSX version, so I can't help there.Stu i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.

September 4, 200916 yr You can have Visibility Graduation and Smoothing enabled and DWC disabled? It stayed enabled in my settings, after I disabled DWC. I think you are right, vis graduation has no effect unless dwc is enabled.Stu i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.
