Any problem with the WX servers today? Can't seem to connect primary or secondary. I thought something was going wrong when my TAT was -37 at 2000 ft at KPBI.

i cannot download the weather either :( .this truely has to be improved in the future! i can undertstand that the server needs sometimes to be updated etc. however it should be at least possible to start the program and fly a saved weather file!!!please fix it asap!chrjs

Same here tried now for 30 minutes to get a connection. Neither the secondary nor the primary seem to work now, flying online with a saved weather file hmmm.... :( Ralf

You can start the program and it will load the last valid weather you used. Thats what mine just did but I can wait till the servers are up again. Flight delays, as real as it gets. :(

i also noticed that. as you said, delays as real as ot gets. does anybody know when LEPA closes down :( , my plan is EDDK-LEPA with 4U588 departure 1810UTC

No it's bad weather LOL.Funny thing though i took the Level-D out for a spin today and everything was just going haywire. Tried all different settings. Even fired up ASX I thought it was a problem with ASA. first time I flew it with build 435. So my autoland was a disaster I had to fly it in by hand. Good thing it wasn't a FSpassengers flight. I hit kinda hard.All the passengers got off and ran to the cocktail lounge.

You can always use the live FSX weather temporarily if you have to make a deadline.

All,We realize it has been a number of hours now, but we are still investigating the server issue. I will post if I find out more that I can share.Thanks,

Just an update:The ASA servers are up and running. This was caused by a crash of the secondary weather server and mail server, We are working to restore the servers and will post more information as it is available. ASX users should not be affected and ASv6.5 users should not be forcing the secondary weather server.Thanks,

Thanks for the updates. For a few minutes i was pulling my hair out thinking it was something here.Sheet happens I guess. :(

It will be a good idea to add a patch that allows us to select random weather for ASA when thge server is down.Or choose to used the last downloaded weather.Its very important that this option can be choosed while waiting for the 6 or 7 attempts to download real time weather.If server is down , it just sits there trying and trying again, can we have ooption to choose random weather or last downloaded weather.

Hi,Yep, just go to the General Options screen and uncheck Automatic Downloads. Also, this was the first server outage in like 4 years.
