Center fuel pumps FO turning off
Hello, I installed Version 2.0 today, thank you for the great product. One issue maybe: my FO turns off the center fuel pumps although center tanks contained still 38,5 kg, wing tanks still full. Regards Ralf

PMDG 777 Weather Radar
Seems some people have to change their mind about realistic weather radar if you read the announcement of the new version of Active Sky (will be named Active Sky Next ASN): http://www.hifitechinc.com/forums/showthread.php?1147-The-next-version-of-Active-Sky&p=5407&viewfull=1#post5407 Especially the following part seems interesting and contradicts every statement given that a realistic weather radar is not possible in aircraft flying FSX: With the last sentence it is the aircraft developers turn to implement the weather radar once ASN is out and the interface is available too. New PMDG OPS CENTER <- Friggin' Awesome! :)
Me having the same problem as Tom above, installed the new update 1.3, but again no success. For 737 and 777 no other options as to buy it, which I have already done 3 days ago, and livery manager and settings for the J41, which I have not installed for a long time now. It would be nice if some of the support members jumps on in here to shed a light what this problem is related to, sometimes normal users can have a brilliant idea. Regards Ralf

about the Operations Center, how to solve this?
The cab-file is not there yet, you have to crate it via the PMDG OP Center. You have to press the blue button in the second portion (that one below the portion with the Ops Center modules, don't know why you have no letters there, mine is labeled "create package") then you have to browse to the location where you want the cab-file, which will be generated afterwards, to be stored. Then you can send the cab-file, which you will find then in your selected location to PMDG support. One note: It seems that cab-files are not allowed to be attached via the support ticket system, so I suggest to send it via Email to the adress of Ryan (mentioned in the support thread) or create a zip-file from the cab-file, then it works too with the ticket system. Regards Ralf

about the Operations Center, how to solve this?
The problem is already known http://forum.avsim.net/topic/418750-pmdg-777-issue-tracking-thread/, you need to open a ticket with the cab-file you can generate inside the PMDG OP Center (under Tools) and submit this file to PMDG. The more submit a ticket the easier it is for PMDG support to track down the problem and find a solution. Only posting here in the forum does not help a lot. Regards Ralf Quote from Ryan:

Livery Downloader Issue
That is what I have tried now several times, but after pressing Next (all fields are filled and a cab file produced from inside the OP Center attached) the Ticket won't get send. It looks like a server issuer. Ralf S.

New PMDG OPS CENTER <- Friggin' Awesome! :)
Just did the update to 1.1 now, but still have no liveries. Maybe it has something to do with my OPS Center installed on c:\program files\... whereas my flight simulator is on a seperate disk (d:). And yes installed with administrator rights and also executed as administrator. It is Windows 7. Regards Ralf

New PMDG OPS CENTER <- Friggin' Awesome! :)
Great new feature. Congratulations! For now after initial update I don't have liveries for the 777 and the 737NGX in the OPS center, only for the Jetstream. Is there a way to reinstall only the OPS not the 777? I think the liveries were not installed due to the heavy server load. Regards Ralf S.

Best FSX tweak to get better FPS on the NGX
So, it does nothing more than what is already recommended by PMDG with the HIGHMEMFIX. The only difference here is it does it automatically, you don't have to touch the fsx.cfg manually by yourself.RegardsRalf
- PMDG 737NGX create some strange files in de Windows directory!

V/S (Vertical Speed) is not working well
Engage the A/P first and then activate V/S, or if you already engaged V/S before (as you did) you have to reengage it after engaging the autopilot. Not sure, but better to engage the second FD (the one on the copilots side) too. Regards Ralf

ILS frequencies in FMC not correct
Hallo, Oliver, that is not true. Log into the support database from Aerosoft (you have to register there if not done already), there you will find the updated AFCAD for MegaAirport EDDF both for FS2004 and FSX and this update, by the way, was done shortly after the ILS frequencies changed. And this update is for the CD version too! Grüße Ralf Stock

Different location in airports.dat and wx_station_list causing wrong weather
Hello, using ASE with FSX only, I discovered that located at RKSI I get weather from RKSS, which is some miles away from RKSI. I checked the airports.dat, which states the correct loacation for RKSI with "37.463,126.439,23,0.0", but the wx_station_list lists RKSI with "37,517,127,117,0.0", the last depicted on the Report Page from ASE with N37 31' 1'' E127 7' 1'', which is wrong for RKSI, correct should it be N37 27' 48'' E126 26' 24'' (N37.463

winds aloft asx
Ralf Stock replied to Vic1's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumHello, I might step in here because I have the same problem kav is reporting.I mentioned it already earlier http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=40716&page=7but I must admit that I was too lazy to take screenshots, look for reports and master the technique of this forum to put all that in at the end. So all my thanks go to kav for having the patience to report all these issues.I will try to get you the same examples kav already has reported, but let me say that I will not do that on FSX default planes cause I think most of the pilots here use add-on aircraft and so do I. Don't know if I am yet capable of flying default planes :).

ASX enroute wind problem in southern hemisphere?
Ralf Stock replied to Ralf Stock's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumYes, weather turned off in IVAO software.I do not fly offline usually, will try the next days.Yes, there was a difference between the 2 screens in ASX Report and Map.Forgot to mention that some flights were done with Wilco Airbus 1 and the last one with Fokker 100 from Digital Aviation. Maybe someone can try the flight with a default aircraft cause I don`t have the time for the next days.

ASX enroute wind problem in southern hemisphere?
Hello,I am running ASX (SP3 installed) together with XGraphics on a networked computer. Vista32bit and FSX SP2 with only SDK 1a.Everything works fine as far as flights in Europe are concerned. I did now several flights on the Argentina IFR Tour on IVAO and experienced heeavy wind shifts above FL240. The direction of the winds reported on the "Report" site of ASX are different from the winds you can look at the "Map" site with wind turned on at the current flight level. The winds coming through to FSX are those from the "Map" site, but sometimes ASX tries to go back to the reported winds on the "Report" site, resulting in extreme wind shifts. I noticed that the winds in FSX mostly disagree by 180 degrees. Could there be a problem with the "International setting" in FSX, where I have Latitude to north and Longitude to east, because the wind difference is not shown on European flights? My last flight was from SAMZ to SAAR in Argentina, route: PULPA UW31 PTA UA306 EZE UW64 GUA UG680 ROS. Unfortunately I restarted AS this morning, therefore I am not able to send you the logfile from the yesterday flight.

Winds and Temperatures Aloft - Fixed
Ralf Stock replied to Damian Clark's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumHello,I am experiencing the same problem as Carlos with ASV 6.5 Build 552. After a while cruising at FL360 I am getting the winds at FL300. Barometer is set correctly. After pushing the clear weather button in FSUIPC then refresh in ASV everything is fine again, except that the aircraft changes speed heavily due to "normal" weather but after refreshing completed wind is correct to FL360 (which is then the one reported for FL340).Any suggestions?Happened now several times with Wilco A320 and PMDG 747.

Stuttering while d/l weather
Ralf Stock replied to a post in a topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumHello, just writing here to mention that I also experience such stutters every time when the waether is updated. With ASV Enhanced and also before with ASV5 and ASV2004 it didn't occur and I didn't either change settings nor did I change the way I am flying, as it is every time online with VATSIM.I will try your above mentioned solutions and post if the stuttering goes on.Let me end with saying that I am still impressed with your product and love to fly with ASV.GreetingsRalf Stock
