January 2, 200620 yr Hi,See if your anti-virus is active at the time. Can you tell exactly what ASv6 is doing at the time?Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg
January 2, 200620 yr my anti virus program is shut down completely and as6 really takes forever to download weather when flight sim is running, causing stutters for a minute or so
January 2, 200620 yr I have to say I get some major stutter when weather updates as well. I love ASv6, and it looks great, but it does seem to cause worse stutters that ASV did. I did an offline flight the other day and was surprised at how much stuttering I was getting. I would think offline wouldn't do that so much.I can't say that the stuttering is directly related to AS though. Yes, it hits with updates, but my computer isn't exactly the latest technology. Overall, my stutters have been worse in general. I'm not sure what my system is doing to me. :( - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
January 2, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi guys,The only difference in processing between ASv6 and ASV is the auto-submit feature and subsequent ASG load/copy of textures. If you disable auto-submit do these new "stutters" go away? We could throttle back the texture submissions if need be. FWIW we have only 3 reports of such a problem including these 2. Might it be related to a heavily fragmented disk drive? Have you run defrag lately? The other report was solved this way...Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
January 4, 200620 yr Hello, just writing here to mention that I also experience such stutters every time when the waether is updated. With ASV Enhanced and also before with ASV5 and ASV2004 it didn't occur and I didn't either change settings nor did I change the way I am flying, as it is every time online with VATSIM.I will try your above mentioned solutions and post if the stuttering goes on.Let me end with saying that I am still impressed with your product and love to fly with ASV.GreetingsRalf Stock
January 4, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi Ralf Stock,Also try fs2004 in windowed mode to test with or with out auto submit.ThanksChris Willishttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
