Livery Downloader Issue

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I just installed the 777 package with the Ops Ctr. I started FSX upon install and went through the notifications process to have the 777 installed and initiated, and it all went fine- the aircraft loaded coolly.

Then I shut it down, and went to look into the Ops Ctr. Upon initially starting the Ops Ctr I had the issue of not being able to d/l the liveries. A little while later the program updated to the fix for the issue. So now I see the liveries, but when I click on "Download" nothing happens. I get alerted to "1 New Notification" in red that comes up pointing to the Settings tab, and upon getting there there are no notifications. Some guidance here would be huge.

Thanks,

Jay

Try a complete reboot of your computer and make sure you are running as administrator, that might help make sure you do any updates it may want you to do.

Hey, thanks for the quick word Rich. I went through with it but it didn't help.... may be I should re-install?

Thanks,

Same issue here..

Nope! It's not helping. The Operations Center won't uninstall when I uninstall the 777, and there seems to be no way to un-install it. I'm running it as an admin to no avail. Any guidance here would be huge!

Thanks everyone, incl the PMDG team.

It's really not anything to see..

1. Go to "Livery Downloader"

2. Go to livery, and Select "Download"

3. Download button goes to "Starting", but then just goes back to "Download".

For a second of two, you can see a new notification, but then it goes away.

Yea, Juan's right there George. Its just a flick of a notification and then it's "Poof!"

Ever stop to think that the server is getting hammered by just about everyone trying to download liveries, too?

Just a thought...

...there's also an update to the Ops Center, too, so make sure the notification center isn't asking you to update.

Really? That's all? Im all updated with the op center.

I freakin hate this op center thing, is there any other way to download liveries because this "new" way obviously has bugs!!!!

Hey thanks Kyle, have updated this one. But the Ops Ctr is broke. Now the documentations for the 777 also won't open. How do I go about un-installing and re-installing the Ops Center? I went through one re-install of the 777 package, but that un-install didn't un-install the Ops Ctr.

Thanks for looking into this one.

That won't do anything because the Op center updates itself..

Running it as an admin?

Uninstall/reinstall should always be the last option.  ALWAYS.  It normally causes more issues than the original issue if not done properly (which I have a feeling was not followed).
