August 23, 200916 yr Hi,I had some issues initially with the installation of the GNS530 not only in other A/C but in RealAir's Duke using their new config tool. I have uninstalled and now reinstalled and have successfully installed in other aircraft but not yet the Duke which leads me to my questions and thinking below.Do you have to first install the GNS using RXP's config tool, before using RealAir Simulations config tool for the Duke? There is a little bit of gray area I have found and below explains my thoughts.I understand that rxp's config tool only configures the GNS for use as a pop-up and does not of course install the guage into the VC panel. In addition though, RXP's config tool also has other configuration options available aside from coordinates such as: Auto Pilot Mode, Auto Approach,Radios(Com1/Nav1 or Com2 Nav2) and many others. So, since I did not know what Realair's config too does with the options just mentioned, led to believe that maybe I need to use both tools to complete the job.I hope I have been clear in my thinking. Anyone who has done this, I would sure like to hear from you.RegardsBob
August 23, 200916 yr Bob, I had trouble getting the RXP unit to install in the Duke as well. What fixed my problem was I had two rxp.ini files. One was in my main Duke folder and one was in my Duke Panel folder where it should be.The one in my main folder was getting updated to correctly add the rxp unit to the Duke. However the rxp.ini file in the panel folder was not getting updated and this is the file that needs to be updated. So I just copied the ini file in the main folder and pasted it to the Duke panel folder. So if I were you I would look in my FSX/Simobjects/Airplane/Duke folder and see if you also have two rxp.ini files I hope this makes sense and that all the info is correct as I am in Boston tonight and a long way from my desktop in Ky.Hope this helps.Michael

We tried to make the manual as clear as possible and strongly advise reading it before installing the RXP gauges into the Duke.Rob Young - RealAir Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
