Hi,1) I'm following all the instructions in the manual and still I can't get the engines to fire up from cold&dark. The tubine gets to 23% N1, there is fuel pressure, the igniters are on, but at the 23% point it just cuts out. I've gota few high fidelity jet sims, but the only way I can get this bird to start is using Ctl+E which is a cop out. Anybody got any ideas ?2) Does anyone know how to upgrade the nav data used by the FMS in the Citation ? I'm using airac 0908 in my other add-ons but I can't find out to update this one.

no navdata updates. make sure your fuel pumps are set, and you are following the checklist correctly. there must be a switch you are missing

Make sure you start your APU, set the BLEEDS to max from the APU, then make sure you open the bleeds (cross bleeds, in the same spot as engine bleeds and air conditioning)...you can check and make sure you did it right by going to the engine screen on the display and you should see around 38 for bleed pressure. Then make sure your fuel cut off switches are up, then fire away. As they say...RTFM :(

If all else fails try Ctl+Shift+ F4

search the general support sub forum -http://iemit.com/forum NOTE: the the CX sub-forum only contains FAQs, do a search of the general forum. be sure to put 'CX' or 'citation x' in the search string.new questions about the CX may be posted at -http://forum.iemit.com

the CX uses the same database as all other FMS equiped aircraft except one: the CRJ. updates may be purchased from navigraph. look for the AIRAC named: Wilco/Feelthere 737/777, ERJ, Legacy (FYI the base code in the FMC of the CX is the same as the ERJ, Legacy and ejets; as each are honeywell siimulations). you will need to ask navigraph why the CX isn't listed in the AIRAC name.--

Make sure you try using the 2D panels to set some of the switches; one or two of the switches in the VC can be a bit iffy, especially on the central pedestal.Al

This is the problem I had, the manual (at least the one I got) doesn't mention the fuel cut off switches at all, not in the checklist and not in the tutorial thing. If I remember correctly, the cut off switches are the two red switches to the left of the fuel boost switches (on the popup panel), and should be turned up (they start in the down position).

Correct. I believe they were not functioning with the initial release but were later made functional with the patch(this is with fs9 at least). That's possibly why they weren't mentioned.

Yup this was it, thanks DarkCharizma. Nice of FeelThere not to include this fundamental piece of information in their manual !

I'd updated the FMS in the Legacy before purchasing the Citation I'll have to check now that the installation didn't overwrite the airac update.Do you know which folder this info is kept, I can't seem to locate it.

the CX's installer will replace the AIRAC.just run NAVIGRAPH's installer to put in place the latest cycle you have purchased.--
