September 16, 200916 yr So I appologise, I just read the Hydraulic section in the AOM and now realise that the flight controls are actually mechanically controled (correct me if I am wrong) and a hydraulic failure would manifest itself with loss of Flaps, spoilers and the primary wheel brake system, unless Hyd pressure is established with the manual Hydraulic pump.So I just did another test of the hyd failure and it seems to follow the AOM logic well in respects of the flaps system. Once Hyd pumps fail, then you get anucation of low Hyd pressure with the pressure gauge dropping upon using the flaps. Nice touch PMDG, it follows logic well. Hydraulic leak failure in both resevoirs also follows AOM logic very well. 1st is the low quanity anucation then high temp anucation from the pumps and then finally low Hyd pressure once the system has used up the residual pressure. Again thanks for that...Brake failures in the J41 from the FSX failure generator create mechanical failures past the brake hydraulic lines, since after the failure the brake Hyd pressure looks normal, but the brakes have zero effectiveness. FSX Generated Engine Failures and Fires obviously have an effect and the methods/logic for securing these failures/abnormals seem to follow the J41 AOM. Thanks for this.FSX fuel pump failures don't seem to do anything to the J41.FSX Ignition failures do nothing to influence the engines both in flight and or at operating RPM as well as durring startup.FSX Oil Leak causes a rapid drop in oil pressure as indicated as well as a low oil pressure anucation at threshold values following an imediate shutdown of the engine.... Very nice touch well done..So far, roughly half of the FSX generated failures that I tested do anything in the J41 and the ones that do seem to have the proper logic following them... Any chance you guys would consider striving to acomidate all the FSX failures, or atleast the most important ones. It would be a nice touch, especially considering the plan for a proprietary J41 failure module was cancelled? If I get some more free time later today I can test the avionics...JB Buzz313th
