September 14, 200916 yr Hello Guys,First of all, what an outstanding product is this!I really enjoy flying it!Second, last flight I noticed that when I do the after landing checklist and activate the gustlock, the rudder also doesn't work anymore. Can you confirm this is as it should be? It confused me because the after landing (expanded)checklist states that the FO activates the gustlock during his flow. Cheers,Jacir
September 14, 200916 yr Yup, we should be able to taxi with gust lock engaged but in FSX locking the rudder also locks the nose steering. There is a fix, I think, included in SP1 that will be released when ready. Dan Downs KCRP
September 15, 200916 yr Could this be why I allways have a left turn? my rudders are centered but there is a wild left pull. only happens with the j41 "To most the sky is the limit but to me it's home" Rick Harms (CYVR) i7 [email protected] (for now) asus p6t v2, 6gb ocz 1600 CL7 ram. September 15, 200916 yr Probably pulling to the left for a reason other than gust lock. I assume you mean in taxi? Check the engines, make sure both sides are putting out same torque. Otherwise, I'd suspect a crosswind. Dan Downs KCRP
September 15, 200916 yr Hey Dan. Yes it happens when I taxi but I look down at the pedals in the vc and the left pedal is in fact 2-3 inches in further than the right. But in flight the even out! I will run a calibration tonight and see if thats it. Thanks for the reply!
