G'day mate,I also have this yoke system and, like you, I had teething troubles when I first started setting it up. It's still a work in progress but it is better than when I started out.Have you assigned the FSX throttle controls to those levers? To do that, you need to go to Settings -> Controls... Select the Control Axes tab, in the drop-down box make sure that the Pro Flight Yoke is the selected/active Controller Type and then look down the list below that. One of the items is Throttle Axis. Double-click it to bring up a dialog box to change the assignment then move the lever(s) you want to assign throttles to. (You can assign two or more levers if you look higher in the list for Engine x throttle axis).Note that there may be other control assignments here that are duplicated, so my advice is to go over it and check that you're happy with all the assignments. Watch out when changing tabs because FSX has a habit of changing the controller type selection when you move between tabs.Good luck and smooth skies.

G'day again, Alex.So your problem is not that the throttle is not reacting, but it's seeming inability to set the engines to idle (or is that cut-off?) and/or full power? Crikey! What aircraft are you using? Have you tried other aircraft? Are you sure the engine is not idling? Look at the revs - if it is in fact idling (about 500-800rpm on some) then you're ready to shut them off, which is a separate procedure. In the case of GA aircraft (unsure of jets), the way to shut off the engine(s) is to lean the mixture all the way out to starve the engine of fuel (as it's done for real). As for full power/throttle: well, I don't know what you expect. The actual level attained (and when you want it) depends on factors such as the aircraft type, it's performance specs, it's in-air attitude, fuel mixture ratio, elevation, altitude, meteorological conditions, etc. What did you use before the Saitek Yoke? Did that give you the control you want, or was the lack thereof the reason for buying the yoke?Cheers,

It sounds like you are not using FSUIPC for your assignments and calibration. You may want to consider purchasing it. It has been the gold standard for this type of stuff for several years and some add ons require it. I believe you can install a non-registered copy of it for some basic functionality but you need to purchase it (register it) for complete control.http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlIt is more complicated than the FSX interface but once you get the hang of it, it works much better and it offers additional controls and buttons. The developer has an active forum where he will answer questions in a matter of hours. He also updates FSUIPC regularly.I could tell you how to fix the problem but you would need FSUIPC to do it.

The problem was that when i pulled the throttle lever up in the quaderent itself , it didnt advance to full or idle thrust in the SIMULATOR. Ok ill look into FSUIPC Sorry for confusing you!Running on 32-bit windows vista, reecently had X52 pro, using all default aircraft. Programed all the buttons to my comfortHopefully we got this problem sorted out!Cheers, and thanks for all the help!

Maybe the unit is bad. If within warranty why not send it back.

FSX as default has the sensitivities set to 50%, try increasing to 100% or whatever setting might work for you.

you need to go into the registry and delete the entried under vid06a3 or something like that, go to the saitek forum and do a search there, its a known fault solution that windows saves an incorrect "wiper" range and wont allow you to overide it
