September 20, 200916 yr I could use a fresh perspective here regarding TrackIR 4 Pro and FSX. Up until today, I enjoyed TIR problem free under both the TIR 4 software and the newer TIR 5 software. No issues and I'm utterly dependent on it working.Today, TIR works in every view it formerly did EXCEPT for virtual cockpit view...where I need it most. I'm totally stumped; has anyone ever seen this problem before? Why would it work in external views and even in the "cockpit" view without a cockpit (which is the one where you have no plane...just superman view) but NOT in the standard VC?What obvious am I missing? September 20, 200916 yr No idea. Never had a problem like that. You've tried it in different aircraft, I assume? It can't be anything in the cfg file I suppose. I'll keep my eyes open for a solution.Have you tried reinstalling The TIR software?

I would try reinstalling the TIR software except that I'm unable to ininstall either version, and this is under Vista 64 and an Administrator account. That would be aggravating but for the fact that TIR is working in every way but the one I need most. I'll keep trying to fix this. Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual
September 20, 200916 yr Author Try a new profile. Maybe this helps. Thanks but same problem. So bizarre. Is there a camera.cfg setting or TIR entry in the fsg.cfg that's off or missing? Why would just the virtual cockpit view be disabled? Strange. Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual

September 20, 200916 yr Author I knew I was being dense and that user error was at fault here...I had an external camera addon enabled, which disabled my TIR in VC view mode. :( Thanks for the responses, folks. Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual
