REX 2.0/JS41 possible issue

Featured Replies

I just purchased REX 2.0 and installed it. This was after the install of the J41. I decided to use real time weather by clicking the fly now button within REX. I loaded the default flight and then loaded a saved JS41 flight. The REX weather tool came up while FSX was loading as normal, but when I loaded my saved flight and tried to load the real time weather, all of the buttons within the J41 were pretty much disabled. No click sounds, no movement, engines wouldn't turn on, FMC wouldn't turn on etc. Just thought this should be known if not already discussed. On a side note, I think if installing a weather theme with REX 2.0 and using the FSX weather engine to create the weather it seems to run just fine. Perhaps I am doing something wrong and if so, please tell me what I should be doing. ThanksChad

I am using both the J41 and Rex2.0 as well although I am not using Rex to launch FSX. Try the same thing by just launching FSX. Once you launch FSX, then the Rex weather generator should pop up durring the FSX splash screen and then load your default flight and then switch to the J41 aircraft. If that all works then try the same thing to launch your saved J41 flight. If you can't, then recreate the J41 saved state by switching to a fresh J41.JB
