September 23, 200916 yr Can I have FS9 in today's modern world with the scenery and AI of 2009 and have another FS9 with say, 1980's scenery and AI? What I would like to do is to be able to fly in the 1960/70/80's with the various aircraft, scenery and AI to get the feel of that era without having the "modern" aircraft and scenery in it. I do not want to "delete" the modern scenery and AI each time I want to fly out of Miami pretending it's 1964 and the next day fly out of there in todays world.Thank you in advance for any help/advise you can offer.Kind regards
September 23, 200916 yr HelloYes it's possible This can give you some guideline for make what you wanthttp://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=261024http://forums.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?t=201438ORSome folders renaming will be needed each time you want to swap ... like the scenery folder ..aircraft.folder .... etc..EG if you have two series of aircrafts (modern and old era) you must rename one of the folder as aircraftOLD and FS9 will only use the folder aircraftIf you want use the old aircrafts .. you rename the aircraft folder for the moderns as aircraftMOD and rename the folder aircraftOLD as aircraft Will be the same for some other specific folders (the non common FS9 folders)Hope it's help :)Regards.Gus.
