Question before purchase

Just a few quick question before I click the purchase button for the FS2Crew MD11.1. Is there a way to take control of the aircraft lights away from the FO? perhaps an option in the cfg? I would prefer to have full control over the lights due to some modifications I have made to the 3D Redux Shockwave addon.2. Will FS2Crew overwrite my Keyboard commands? I have customized most of my keyboard commands, for example the Keys F1 to F12 all control various functions in the MD11, other keys have been assigned to the Flight director & many other cockpit functions.3. I fly in VC but have many of the panels undocked to other monitors eg Both EAD and SD, Eng start, FADECS, Anti ice, FMC IRU, etc. Will this cause any problems?ThanksRob

Hello Rob,1. There is no option to disable the FO's ability to handle lights.2. FS2Crew should not automatically overwrite your keyboard.ini file. If you set the keyboard commands to FS2Crew via the FS2Crew Start Center, a backup of your pre-existing keyboard ini file will be made.Note: FS2Crew requires that certain keyboard commands be set to specific keys. This is how the FO is able to press many of the buttons on the aircraft.3. Should be no problem there.Best,

Bryan,I just got done watching a couple of yout tube set up videos, so I have another question: Since it seems that it takes a fair amount of time (45 minutes or so)to get everything setup before take off, is there a quick setup? In other words, due to time constraints I typically take off within about 5 minutes of loading the aircraft in FSX. I konw this is obviously defeating the purpose of the sim to some extent, and I am certain that there are things I am missing, but I am curious as to whether I can just load the plane and within a couple of minutes have it ready for take off. I will say, however, that if time were not an issue, the setup video was awesome! Thanks in advance for your patience!

Ok Thanks, so for example the FO switches the landing lights on in Lo vis operations at night (Real world and with my Shockwave lights it can actually reduce visibility further) I can just turn them off again right? I mean where not going to be fighting each over the lights lol?And regarding Keyboard commands, is there anyway I can download the documentation and see what keys FSCrew needs etc, my setup has been pretty non standard for a while, I have the Keyboard and hardware switches Labeled and assigned to Functions in FS and PMDGThanks for your quick replyRob
