If you are advised by ATC to enter an enroute holding fix, or you require a hold, to burn excess fuel; is there any easy way to program the fix into the FMC without losing the original FP? Or is it simpler to just to hand fly the fix using standard rate turns and legs? Yes I know that MSFS doesn't require holds but occasionally VATSIM does. Thanks,Eric

Hi Eric,Yes, you can program the hold into the FMC. You'll want to consult the PMDG manual for the details though. Or ask the PMDG forum.Cheers,
