Hi everyone I have bitten the bullet and ordered the components for the i7 975 including a 285 graphics card. I would have liked to get mushkin Ram but cant get it here in Australia. I was wondering if this ram is likely to be adequate for the job? That RAM is good stuff. My roommate runs a similar OCZ kit in his i7 920 PC.

Ihave Corsair DDR 6GB 7-7-7-20 Ram with I7 920 @4GHZ and a GTX 285 Vid card and I am far from dissapointed with performance. Its brilliant.30 FPS in built up areas 60FPS+ in the sky. PS I also set it up using Nick Ns guide. The only dissapointment I have had is if using UTX some in the busiest areas like Heathrow Airport the frames go to 20-25.

By that I assume you are talking about AUTOGEN and SCENERY well, they are both at Very Dense. All other settings are pretty much per Nick Ns guide found here in case you have not found it already http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041Laz
