Hope somebody can help. I remember having this problem years ago but have forgotten how to fix it. I don't know what's suddenly changed. Any ideas?

Make sure you have a check in the aircraft reflections box.Settings>display, aircraft tab, if I remember correctly.Hope this helps,Joe

Thanks for that. I tried it but then the textures are TOO shiny - they look more like a mirror...

What video card do you have?

It look to me that you have problem with Alpha channel, on that repaint. Or if you have problem with all planes, than you should check "envmap.bmp" texture in "Texture" folder.

My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....

Thanks for the help guys. First, it's a Nvidia card - can't remember which offhand now, but I do remember it being an Nvidia setting in the past.I'll look at that envmap tooThanks

Ok it wasn't the envmap file. Any other suggestions will be appreciated
