October 19, 200916 yr I know I'm late to the party - having just purchased 600/700 AND 800/900 package. Is there a forum just for beginners? I'd hate to bother all the experienced folks with basic questions on installation....

I'll figure out the path , just please let me know the target directory name. Thanks in advance for any help.Richard A Schwed

You should install as you would any other program. I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling. George Morris

Your fine with it in your sig the way you have it. It's the same as Dan's. No need to enter it twice. Perhaps your sig wasn't showing when he replied. Then again, Dan makes that comment so often, perhaps it is like a Pre-Sig comment for him ;) i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
November 5, 200916 yr What do you mean by safe mode? You should install as you would any other program. I would recommend uninstalling and reinstallI mean Windows XP's "Safe Mode." There have been several posts over the last few years where folks have NOT been able to install the PMDG 737NG package normally. The installer gets hung up while trying to copy various font files (i.e., .ttf files). The solution for these folks -and me - was to install using "Safe Mode". This is a documented feature of Windows. It works, but you have to point the installer at a specific directory and I am trying to find out which one.
November 5, 200916 yr Commercial Member Richard,How did you acquire the NG installers? The issue you're describing occurred with a very old version of the installers and was fixed over two years ago for new purchasers. I don't see anyone with the name Schwed in our customer database - could you PM me your order number? Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
