Hey everyone i brought the J41 some time ago, and its been great and ive had no problems with it. unfortunatley when i decided to update to SP1 it persisted in asking me for a validation key, ive entered my key every time it has asked but when i load up the aircraft it shows all black screens. i have uninstalled and reinstalled with and without SP1 and i get the same problem, now it says ive entered in my key too many times and it wont let me anymore...i know validation issues are dealt with by PMDG support and i have e-mailed the lads but i just thought id check and see if its something someone else has had problems with and if theres any simple way to fix it im not thinking of.Cheers-Dan Parker

Nope, emailing support was the only thing you could do.

Dan-I've adjusted your activation to allow you access to it- HOWEVER:The reason you are being asked to revalidate over and over is because you have something on your system that is killing the activation information that gets stored on your system.Unless you find/modify whatever process this is- you are simply going to be asked over and over for validation- and you'll be locked out again within a day...We have found that some users are running "background process killing" applications- and these shut down critical windows components that are used to run the licensing process. Not sure what you are running on your machine- but if you need some help get in touch with us via email to support and we'll see if we can't help you out.(BTW: Thanks for signing your post- I was able to look you up and help you without waiting for Paul to forward your email to me later today... )

Thank you very much i appreciate your help, i have installed a few new bits and pieces on my computer lately i will shut them down and try revalidation. It must be something small because ive been using the aircraft flawlessly since its first day of release. Ill let you lads know if i have anymore trouble.No problem on signing my post, im happy it made life easier for you gents :( Cheers-Dan Parker
