  2. Hi Ed, is a v3 installer far off? I check back here every day but if it's not going to be available until after xmas I'll just make do for a while. Kind Regards, -Dan
  3. Hi, Yeah i have seen the update on whats happening but i didnt know if there had been more info id somehow missed as Robert has said it will be largely tested monday tuesday for a fix its wednesday in Australia so i didnt know if id missed some info regarding the hotfix. Im a patient man, but self admittedly eager nonetheless. thanks for your reply mate. -Dan Parker
  4. Hi PMDG, just atempted to do a flight and made very little progress once into climb i lost all control and had a freeze. Just thought id put the feelers out and see if any progress had been made on a fix for this? im itching to complete a flight! Hope the team is having some success :) Cheers Guys! -Dan Parker
  5. Flying a sim is totally different to real world! They can't even be compared. I can guarantee most people would gum up under pressure real world flying is about being 10 mins ahead of the aircraft and that's in a 172 even when you get to a pc12 or a Navajo you will find things get away from you very very quickly if you arnt on top of your workload. Totally different like saying could I win le mans if I've played gran turismo.... Ofcourse not! :) interesting thread though!-Dan Parker
  6. im sure in good time they will incorporate it into the installer but for the meantime i would say that they will release a patch to get those who have the issue up and running then work out how they will handle future customers later.if more customers experience other issues they will have updated the installer already and have to do it again, i have no idea if thats difficult or not or even if this is the course they will take i just thought id chime in with my best guess. i am experiencing the freeze so fingers crossed these guys crack this nut quick! im sure they will its PMDG! they built the most complex add on ever seen they can beat a little freeze issue haha! -Dan Parker
  7. Well ive spent nearly 12 hours of my life trying to get to this moment only to find out a 3 hour download is corrupt.... needless to say its 1am and im fed up as are alot of people this is not PMDG's fault but, this roll out went bad bigtime and that sucks for all involved. sorry pmdg that your day of days turned out so tough and upsetting for many, alot of the joy has been taken from these hackers which is sad. best of luck guys -Dan Parker
  8. No Problems at all i know were all keen to get a go in this aircraft its been long awaited i cant do much but its nice to help where i can. -Dan Parker
  9. Jayjay i placed my order around 0430z so i waited around 9 hours for my e-mail. if you have submitted a ticket then your in the "backlog" have you been checking e-mail? thats where it will come through-Dan ParkerChriswick72 has been a big help in this thread! thanks mate!
  10. Hey guys, im sure there are some very clever computer techs who have racked their brains and lost sleep for us to get this up and running they deserve recognition for their efforts so well done guys your doing a great job top work!! -Dan Parker
  11. It takes a while sometimes the system is still under fire i believe its just PMDG have managed to get some progress happening now with the help of the techs
  12. it is frustrating i know but i imagine the situation at the moment would be somewhat similar to you clearing an inbox of e-mails one by one i am downloading now and im not expecting to get it for another 4 hours because the server is still suffering in some way from what i understand. just keep trying to get a ticket through if you cant try alerting someone from the team on here maybe? -Dan Parker
  13. i think they are working on all at the moment i just think its a backlog issue from what i understand?"Dan,No worries - we have a seriously big backlog which we have to manage case by case!Good luck!Armen" just recieved this message so this is the biggest issue for PMDG they are hammer and tong i believe
  14. just got an e-mail with the download in it for all those who are waiting thats the most likely first contact so keep checking inbox. thanks pmdg for being patient with keen customers feeling frustrated alike cheers! -Dan Parker

  17. awesome thanks mate
  18. Gents, I left a couple of tickets but im not sure how to know if its been replied to or not? will i recieve an e-mail? or should i just head back every 10 mins and check? Dan Parker

  20. Hi i like alot of people have paid via paypal and am not able to download the aircraft. i know this cant be fixed and its out of my hands however i am wondering should i let pmdg know that this has happened in some way or will they know to send me a link via e-mail? i dont want to harrass them when they are clearly busy but i suppose me and alot of people are wondering what is the best thing to do now? should we just wait for pmdg to get back to each one of us? Cheers guys -Dan Parker
  21. This is great, ive been studying for my CPL and havent been on here for weeks. when i got back there was no news anywhere, so after only a day i am pleased with an update hearing its coming along thanks Robert!-Dan Parker
  22. Sergio,The aircraft has been designed in accordance with boeings own blueprints. As far as i know those plans are as real as it gets. These guys have spent a very long time photographing and scaling everything to perfection, no doubt its spot on.-Dan Parker

Thats an awesome picture! It only takes the smallest amount of contamination of the wing to dramatically affect the wings ability to produce lift. In an aircraft of this size with this kind of payload it would be absolutley essential to make sure there is no ice formed on the wings, or else the takeoff distance might be affected and it may not get off the ground with the runway available!! An impressive shot thanks for sharing.-Dan Parker
  24. Gents,Anyone notice the wingtip from the cockpit? :( Fantastic!-Dan Parker
  25. Chris,The level of simulation of weather in FSX is limited as far as weather radar goes. From memory there is no known way to correctly simulate where the precipitation occurs in FSX therefore it will not be implemented in the NGX. I realize there is a provision for it in the jetstream but i do not think the NGX will provide such a feature. The NGX is being designed with the idea of it being a simulation as close to the real aircraft as possible and since weather radar cannot be simulated in the manner it really performs its tasks in the real aircraft, it will not be included as a feature of the NGX.I believe this is correct but things sometimes change.Hope this answers your question.-Dan Parker
