Next Round of J41 Key Commands

Featured Replies

Dear Gunseli,Thank you very much for both macro and lua you have provided for all js41 pilots. But unfortunately I couldnt get able to either to save the text as LUA, nor load which renamed macro to lua.By the way, I m happily using yor macro which you were provided in your firs topic. What I m trying to explain is I would be glad if you send those comands above as a macro aswell, just like the way you did with your first post onthis subject.Thank you very much in advance.Bst rgds.Depar K.

Robert and guys,When using word pad to recieve your paste, choose "save as" then type in "j41" as the name, then make sure to use the drop down box for "file type". Choose "unicode text document". The formatting is unchanged that way. And thanks from me too Gunseli.John Hubbard

This simply does not work. I have tried saving it with wordpad as you instructed using "unicode text document" and there is nowhere that it shows up in FSUIPC as you instruct. Was very encouraging, but just does not work, can NOT find the file in the "Control sent when button pressed"

Did you save it the modules directory?Have you saved the document with a .txt extension? Using windows explorer go into folder options and ensure that "hide extensions for known file types" is NOT ticked. Then check the filename, it should only have a .lua extension.

Yes, was sure I did but I will go and check that again. BTW I did finally get one of these to show in FSUIPC but the commands do not seem to work. Thanks much.Joe

The only thing that will show up in the assigments in FSUIPC is the filename of the document you saved the commands as. So if you saved the LUA file as "myJ41commands.lua", then it will show up in the pull down list as "LUA myJ41commands".Its the parameter value you assign in the box that determines which of the actions will occur when the joystick button is pressed. Thus all your joystick buttons will be assigned using LUA <whatever filename you used>, but you must change the parameter box number to indicate which of the commands to use.
