October 23, 200916 yr I think I found a jewel to consider moving up to 1920 x 1200 on: Dell's IPS panel U2140. Looks like a keeper, with low input lag, etc. The only concern I have now is, how hard will that be on processing overhead compared to what I am using now, a Dell 1680 x 1050 display (gr8 in itself, as an IPS panel). I know I can expect some deterioration in other games that are heavy GPU games, but FSX I'm not sure what to expect. Thanks,Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. October 23, 200916 yr Noel,With your current hardware, I believe your performance decrease going to 1920 x 1200 will be negligible even with GPU dependent games. Your current card is not feeling any pressure at all from a resolution of 1600 x 1200 (its laughing at it).

So it must be guffawing at that resolution. I think with GPU games I figured I'd see about a 12% loss in performance, from looking at Toms or somewhere. Now I'll go edit my sig . . . October 25, 200916 yr I am almost sure, that the frame rates will be exactly the same.I remember moving from 1 x 1680x1050 to 3 x 1680x1050 on CPU and GPU similar to Yours. FPS drop was almost none. Bartłomiej Ender
