November 7, 200916 yr In agree 100%. I started playing with ai the day ttools was released for FS2002. Most any approach/program will (including WofAI) will need tweaking. You will most likely have to add better models, repaints, military, GA or charter flights but using something as a base (UT2, MyTraffic, WofAI) and building from it is far less time consuming than starting from scratch. If you set your sights on filling the skies from scratch, say goodbye to flying.Since June of 2003 I have used Ultimate Traffic with a mixture of WofAI and other flight plans found on the web. I have UT2 and I like it. It is a little buggy but they are releasing a SP soon. The advantage to Ultimate Traffic is new paints are very easy to import and add to flight plans. You can easily remove a airline or the airlines for an entire county if you want to substitute them for something else. Just finding all of the missing aircraft that are not included with UT2 is quite a chore. Trying to create AI from scratch is an insane, yet doable, taskIf you want something bad enough, you'll eventually find it. I worked for PAN AM and TWA for over 25 years, it took me a long time to collect the different models. Was it hard at times to do that? Of course it was! The final result and the enjoyment were worth every second.Just to watch the following AI's take to the sky and land, it brings history in a different focus:"CONSTELLATION-AIRFRANCE""CONSTELLATION-BOAC""CONSTELLATION-BRANIFF""CONSTELLATION-SABENA""CONSTELLATION-AIRAZUR""CONSTELLATION-QANTAS""CONSTELLATION-TWA 1958""CONSTELLATION-TWA""CONSTELLATION-KLM""CONSTELLATION-PAA""C-82 TWA"
November 15, 200916 yr So is MT 5.2b pro the same as MT 2010?HelloNo the MT 2010 is slightly different, there is a chart here with the differences between lite , 2010 and proPro is the way to go.http://secure.simmarket.com/b.-renk-mytraffic-x-pro.phtml
November 15, 200916 yr So is MT 5.2b pro the same as MT 2010?To be accurate and not to confuse anyone further, if you're going to abbreviate, it's MTX 5.2b, not MT. :( It's my understanding they are not completely the same products but made by the same developer. MT 2010 being released by Aerosoft and MTX 5.2b Pro continuing to be released by SimMarket is one of the major differences. This is explained fully in the two links I provided earlier. The link on the MyTrafficX site is the most complete and accurate description by the developer and why he did it. Basically, what I understand is that MT2010 was completely made for FSX SP2/Acceleration whereas MyTrafficX 5.2b was upgraded and ported over from previous FS versions, like FS9. So it has some leftovers from earlier versions but, like I said earlier, it is constantly being upgraded. I recently paid for the upgrade to 5.2b and it's working great so far with my upgrade to Windows 7 64bit. Hope this helps! Best regards, Jim
