I've searched, but turned up dry. I use to have a link and remember a good freeware Hawaiian scenery set, but now I can't locate it.I remember some scenery set called Project Hawaii...or Hawaii Project, something like that.Do you guys have some really nice scenery suggestions?

Are you referring to landclass, airport scenery or both? If you have access to FlightSim.Com: Search under: FS2004(ACOF):FS2004Scenery, search for text; Hawaii. That will turn up some good stuff for you. Sorry, but that is about all the help I can be, for now.Best regards,Mel

HiIf you are willing to go down the payware pathway, Megascenery Hawaii is great but it is only Oahu - the other islands look a little boring and not really very tropical in comparison! If you are looking for airports, many of the bigger ones on the Hawaiian Islands (Honolulu Int, Kahului, etc) are available as reasonably good freeware. A good (and frequently updated) source for scenery addons worldwide for fs9 is http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004.phpHope this helps!BillWindows XP Pro SP2; Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0Ghz CPU; Arctic Cool 7Pro; ASUS P5N-E-SLI Motherboard; 2GB Corsair 800Mhz DDR2 RAM; 768MB nVidia GeForce 8800GTX Dual VGA Graphics card; 2x 500GB SATA 7200RPM Hard Drive; 650W (2 x 12V) PSU; 1000GB Western Digital External Hard Drive; 150GB Western Digital External Hard DriveAll running 245GB of fs9 fun!

There was at one time something with a name like Project Hawaii. It was a compilation of various freeware scenery for Hawaii. Don't know what became of it.scott s..

Well not for nothing we have a limited data-base to acquire old FS9 files. I would try singing up with MSFSDownloads.com or Simviation.com to broaden your search perimeters. I found tons of old files that I though were lost forever. Avsim has always been the best source for anything Flight Simulator. But thanks to the jag off that screwed up their network all Flight Sim fans are feeling the pinch of not getting the old files they loved! There is however a very large file available right here on Avsim that provides you a HI-RES detail mesh of Honolulu. Dont know the file name exactly but if you search for it in FS9 Scenery section you will find it. The only thing that sucks about it is that it adds aerial images on the runways at Honolulu Intl. Other than that it is very breath taking to fly over the Island and everything looks photo-realistic. Well worth the time it takes to download it! With experimentation you can find out what part of the mesh images Honolulu Intl and delete them.Happy hunting :(

I was looking for landclass. I now remember the site that you referenced. It is linked to on the VATSIM web site. I feel silly that I forgot about looking at VATSIM for the files. :( Thanks.

Yeah that is what I was trying to find, but it seams that it has broken up. I wish I knew what the set was. I have a few of the files, but not all. Thanks for all the advice and points to where I can find scenery.I think I might check out the FSGenesis 9m scenery mesh for Hawaii, then see how it looks after that.
