Hi,I am doing the MD11 fs2004 flight tutorial and am programming the FMC.I am on the TO/APPR page. After entering the following Flex 54 Flap 22 Slope 0/0 OAT 16C I now need to check/confirm VSPDS by by pressing the LSKs next to V1 VR V2, which should become active by changing from small to large font. When I do this nothing hapens and I am getting nothing in 'STAB' (i.e no 7.6) and no green band on the engine display.What am I missing?Any ideas ?

Do you have a departure runway selected?

My immediate guess is that you haven't entered the ZFW/TOGW and/or respective CGs properly or you have forgotten to enter the cost index...There is definitely a parameter missing if the FMS will not allow you to confirm the V speeds...AndrewPS: Dan, does not entering the dep runway cause this too? Learned something new, though I never set up the FMS without at least a dep runway... I sometimes leave the arrival runway until I am en route... weather changes and so on...

Thanks aentwis you were spot on. Was failing to enter CG 20.7 Into TOCG on WEIGHT INIT page. Works fine now.
