December 12, 200916 yr Hi all, I posted in the scenery forum that I was having a runtime error 9 but it doesn't seem that many go to that forum, so I thought I would post it here. One person replied and posted some links but none of them gave any constructive answer nor fixed my problem. I had already reviewd those links and I also posted at the PTsim Forum but have not got a reply, as of yet. The issue I had with the SBuilder program was that when I go to File - Append - and click on LWM BGL. It opened a window for me to enter a file, and that file was FL926170.BGL. When I clicked Open, I got a run-time error 9, which is a "Subscript out of range" error. However, I found the problem. According to the Airport Background Tutorial, this file - FL926170 was located in Scenery/Name/Scenery in FS9. When I clicked on LWM BGL in the SBuilder program, it opened a window and the "Look In" box was already selected at Scenery. But for some reason, the correct Scenery Folder was not selected. The director was set to Scenery/Namc/Scenery, not Scenery/Name/Scenery, as it should have been. That was the reason for the runtime error message. When selecting the VTP in the SBuilder program, there was no problem and I had the directoy set to Scenery/Name/Scenery when selecting the file AB926170. I never selected the Namc folder. Now that I resolved that, there's still another issue with the SBuilder program. In the SBuilder program, there is a compiled html help file. When I try to open the file, there is no help information and I get a message saying "Navigation to the Webpage Cancled." I can download this file from PTSim and I still get the same error message when I try to open it. I can also click the Help tool bar in the Sbuilder program and I still get that same message. What is the problem and why am I not getting any help information? I am connected to the internet.Buy the way, I'm running FL9, NOT FSX. Ken Manning

Ken ManningHi,It seems to me that I had posted a reply here on this forum about the runtime error 9 and explained the cause of the error and now it's not here. I believe this is where I posted it and I want to know why it's not here now. Ken Manning

December 15, 200916 yr Author Hello,Maybe the people from this forum can help you .....http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=33Regards.Gus.Thanks Gus for that link. I'll defenitely look over it. I may not have explained myself clearly. What I was referring to was that I had posted my question about the runtime error 9 that I was having with FSbuilder. But I had figured out why I was receiving the error message and so I replied and posted it here to my own message that I had posted earlier for everyone to read. But now, it's not here. It's like I never replied to my earlier post. The earlier post still remains but not my reply.Ken Manning

December 15, 200916 yr Hi all,I found the thread. Ken ManningCare to share, for the good of the order?regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
December 16, 200916 yr Author Care to share, for the good of the order?regards,JoeHi Joe,I guess you mean where did I find the thread I thought was missing or explain the cause of the runtime error. Well, I thought I had replied to my thread but I actually explained the cause of the runtime error in the first thread I posted. What I did was I posted my question the first time around. I went back to run the SBuilder and try to find the cause of the runtime error 9 and after about 10 minutes, that's when I found the problem. So instead of replying, I just edited the thread I posted but I thought I had replied it. I've been having some financial problems and haven't been able to think straight. The cause of the runtime error 9 was the wrong Scenery folder was in the Windows Look In box. It was in Scenery/Namc/Scenery and should have been Senery/Name/Scenery. I explained it in the first thread I've posted. Sorry for all the trouble. Ken Manning
December 16, 200916 yr Author Hi Ken..Just confirm you have SBuilder working ok now?RJHi RJ,Yes, it seems to be working okay. But I don't understand why the Help menu nor the html help file won't bring up any help information. When I click on the included html Help file, it just says "Navigation to the Webpage Cancled." The Help menu does the same thing. Does anyone know why?Ken Manning
