December 22, 200916 yr Commercial Member I know that the CI range for the MD-11 is 0-150, however, what is the typical CI that airline and freight haulers use?I fly using the real 2008 Fedex FCOM as a reference. It states that CI200 should be used unless other factors are affecting the trip.It also states the range is from 0 - 999 RegardsRob Rob Prest
December 22, 200916 yr Try out to set the CI in the PMDG, change it from time to time and watch the EFOB value... :-)Its working in the wrong direction, less CI more fuel consumption, more CI less fuel consumption....Best wishes.Steffen Rabenau Steffen Rabenau, Berlin, Germany / stevens-va.de
December 22, 200916 yr I've noticed too that setting a higher cost index causes the prediction to be higher and vice versa, but if u wait like a half hour or so the predictions reduce and it starts to appear correct.
